THEY OBEY THEIR LORDS !

I am glad to see tremendous efforts being initiated to establish rapport with the higher echelons of LIC for our just cause. I am of the opinion that  these higher officials of LIC are but puppets in the hands of the Babus of MOF and though they understand and appreciate the plight of the hapless pensioners all they could do is show only a lip service as their hands are tied up by GOI/MOF and if there is anybody who has the powers to really help us, it is the FM/GOI.

If only we could influence and pressurise him to sympathise with the just and reasonableness of our demands especially when the Nation is now in Parliamentary Election Mode, we could expect some tangible results to follow, as the proverb goes "strike the iron while it is hot". Even the LIC Board Members, as a new member rightly put it, have very little powers.  LIC Board is only a blackboard in which the MOF Babus can write, not even the LIC Chairman.
