NEED OF THE HOUR ?

I feel that even our Chairman Sh. S.K.Roy is also helpless in this matter since he is supposed to obey the orders of current FM who is known to be insensitive to sufferings of aged LIC Pensioners.  FM's fear is that Pension Upgradation if granted to LIC Pensioners will have to be passed on to Banking, General Insurance as well as RBI Pensioners i.e. entire Financial Sector for which he is not ready at all.

As far as my limited knoweledge tells me approx 45000 LIC Pensioners are divided into five camps currently and these camps are

a) G N Shreedharan camp
b) AIIEA camp
c) AIRIEF camp
d) BMS or NOINO type camp
e) Not part of any such group ie. unattached

My simple question is why General Secretary/President or their representatives from each camp cannot have a joint or common platform like a sort of coordination committee type for pursuing issues of LIC Pensioners with LIC Top Management or MOF because that is the need of hour.
