Dear Editor
SHRI T.LAKSHMINARAYANAN WRITES -
WHAT IS WRONG IN MEETING SECRETARY FINANCE...
and about asking for ad-hoc relief, nobody knows how long the court cases will take to reach their finality and in the meantime if some ad-hoc payment is granted it will be of immense relief to pensioners like me who is aged 80+ and there is no point in finding fault with that.

There is nothing wrong in meeting the Secretary Finance,
and efforts need appreciation, but placing half facts and half demands is
against the interest of the pensioners as civil appeals pending in SC has no
adverse effect on HCs orders since SC has not granted any stay and LIC is
legally bound to honour the HC judgment.
It appears he has not been able to appreciate the HCs
& SC orders in the right perspective or is quite ignorant about
the whole legal history. He is requested to please go thru various
mails of pensioners on the subject and my mail dated 3.11.13 reproduced
below. I wish him good health, and all of us are concerned and worried
for the delay in the process of the legal system and
we have no alternative than to wait for the final compliance of court
orders by LIC. HK AGGARWAL
