One cannot say that by the Supreme court order dated 31-3-2016 the DR anomaly for the pre-August 1997 retirees has been removed unless and until it is ab initio. The effective date for removal of DR anomaly is 1-11-1993 or the date of retirement which ever is later. We hope that amidst upgradation of pension gaining momentum this point has been brought in full force in the affidavits filed before the Delhi HC.
