subbu: I have more to agree with Mazumdar than with CSM, though the statistics he provided was revealing. Despite the highest claim reported to have been paid, I do remember cases where the hospitalized person/s had to be afforded a grant from the Chairman's Relief Fund, since the max under group cover was not sufficient.
Secondly, when u have an option to have a SA fixed for yourself, depending upon your own foreseeable diseases, why bother about the mktg angle? However, in case of cross subsidy of premiums happening and the lower strata is having the impact, then CSM has a say, no doubt.
