Referring to the Chat-n-Chat remarks of editor in LIC Pensioners' Chronicle, as per grapevine information received by me the LIC unions are not agreeable to the 7.75% Special Allowance on the lines given to the Bank employees. As the Special Allowance only counts for DA and not for retirement benefits, the unions want to bargain for a better deal.
Can any one confirm or deny the authenticity of this information?
