Changing Roles Of LIC Pensioners Organisations

Dear Editor,

I am very happy to read a copy of letter written by NOIP TO ED (Personnel) relating to various issues of LIC Pensioners and you as Editor have done a commendable job by uploading the same on your blog for information of your esteemed readers.

The other day our very senior and most respected leader popularly known as GNS had mentioned that we do not work for publicity and immediately came a million dollar question from our revered Sh. Mahadeven that where are the results.

The urgent need of the hour is change in mind set of our very senior Leaders for all LIC Pensioners Organisations.

Let me mention here my experience. Both me as well as our Panchkula AIRIEF Unit Secretary Sh. S.N. Chhabra are facing a very strong criticism from our respected All India AIRIEF President and his team for simply one reason why we are expressing ourselves through blogs ? Is it a mind set of 21st century where every thing is instant due to latest technology or 20th century when flow of information was like speed of Post Card (may reach destination or may not - no body was sure ) besides telling some thing or not to members used to be a prerogative of our Leader only.

What does it indicate ? Urgent need for change in mindset of our very leaders of LIC Pensioners Organisations.

They say that Justice should not only be done but it should also appear to having been done.

Our Leaders have to undertake multiple activities to fight for LIC pensioners issues and what ever efforts are being done in this regard, same must reach instantly to your members as well others who are not your members but are part of LIC Pensioners Community and the best medium for securing this goal is taking help of LIC pensioners blogs which in fact are doing a great service to the whole pensioners community not only in Insurance but in other sectors like GIC/Banks/RBI and many others.
