GOVERNMENT'S PLANS TO APPROACH 7TH PAY COMMISSION ON PENSION UPGRADATION

Dear Editor,

Hope this Note is not a 'repeat' on its content.

I have reliable information that Modi/Jaitley Government has reneged on the UPA Government's commitment to upgrade the Pension of RBI Retirees. Not only that - Government intends to formally approach the 7th Pay Commission 'NOT TO RECOMMEND Pension Up-gradation to Government Servants with future wage revisions of serving employees. Reason: Exchequer just cannot absorb. Next target could be Judiciary. The only sector insulated is the political class. One term as MLA/MP, fat Pension assured for rest of the life.

No wonder, Government is coming all out against LIC Pensioners.

These developments are all the more strong reason to look to the Apex Court for Justice - the only ray of hope. Just can't afford to fail there.

Thanks and regards,
