2. Improve vision by wearing suitable spectacles.
3. Keep away from alcohol or medications that make you drowsy.
4. Protect yourself (especially legs) from exposure to cold while walking.
5. Use orthopaedic walking stick for support.
6. Hold railings while on stairs, in toilets and on moving vehicles.
7. Exercise regularly to improve balance, gait and lower limb strength.
8. Walk carefully on uneven floorings and floors with poor lighting.
9. Don’t carry weight and climb or walk.
10. Do not walk immediately after getting up from bed.
