SN's query

SN raised a query:

  • The 'conclusion' may be based on body language or implicit or explicit comments or remarks by the Chairman. Any clue on this?

The 'conclusion' was not based on body language and not implicit but was a categorical assertion by the Chairman, more than once, during the discussion.  It also follows (this is my reading) that LIC/Chairman think that they have a strong case to win their Appeal on that point (as some pensioners' Organizational leaders also think)

We did not concede and accept Chairman's conclusion. We even told him so. We are well aware of this stand by LIC as that was their first legal ground for the Appeal. And we do have a very clear strategic argument to put forth before the SC Bench to overcome the point.
