Dear Sri.Balu Garu
Though at the begining I shared your happiness with the initiatives taken by Shri. Srinivasa Murthy for starting an united forum on the legal front and other demands to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of the hapless pensioners,
the later events and developments leave one in doubt about his objectives
which remain non-transparent, recent developments at some places
are causing anxiety to the well wishers of AIRIEF.
You are fully aware of the history and profile of our legal fight since the last fifteen years and the relentless fighter is none other than the aging sickly person Mr.Asthana ji himself undeterred by lack of followers and finance in the beginning, but fought as one man army. Briefly stated: Sri. Asthana started his battle front against LIC in Rajasthan H.C Jaipur Bench about 15 years back and after he achieved series of successes, friends joined him and contributed their might in the shape of finance and encouragement of whom you are one of the important persons.
This is my humble personal opinion and not intended to hurt any body's feelings and sentiments it is upto you to heed it or leave it!
Thanks to the efforts of shri. Asthana ji, now we are traversing the last mile of our destination towards fulfilment of our long cherished dreams of removal of DR anomalies and pension upgradation which are the highlights of justice Bhandari's judgement.
This reminds me about a Telugu proverb which says "when water tanks are full in rainy season many frogs from different parts of the areas to envy the bounty".

What needs priority is not formation of yet another forum of pensioner's associations which emerged as a crowded segment already with too many cooks joining the fray and adding confusion and chaos to the hapless pensioners, but standing united in our demand for implementation of the judgements of the 3 High Courts is the need of the hour and not questioning the justice Bhandari's judgement and open the Pandora's box for fresh negotiations which may tantamount to return back to square one for which burdening the hapless pensioners with another Forum is need less and uncalled for!
