Mr.Narendra Damodardas Modi, Honourable Prime Minister of India,New Delhi.
Respected Sir,
I take this opportunity to congratulate you on behalf of my fellow citizen's and myself wish the Almighty to give you courage and conviction to hold high the Flag of Mother India among the nations and in serving the country without fear or favour. I am a retired employee of LIC of India and retired in 2/1997 - a batch of retirees who retired between 1-1-1986 to 31-7-1997 - have been given discriminatory treatment. They have been denied full neutralization of DA corresponding to the revision of basic pension applicable to in-service employees.
A case in this regard was filed in Rajasthan High Court by Mr. Krisian Murari Lal Asthana , General Secretary, Retired LIC Insurance Employees Federation Jaipur, and obtained judgement on 12-1-2010, directing LIC to implement the decision by its Board to revise the pension and DA payable. The LIC, besides not honouring the judgement , is adopting delaying tactics of dragging the case.
Now the case is with the Supreme Court and the hearing is on 12-8-2014 .
Sir, I appeal to you on behalf of the victimized pensioners and myself to look into the matter personally and render justice.
(I append herewith reference documents.)
Thanking you, Yours faithfully,T.S.Venkataraman, Chennai Tamil Nadu.
