Re : Our further legal action on pending issues.
We have today filed an Interim Application in the Supreme Court in the pending Civil Appeal No 9223/2013, seeking direction to LIC to implement their Resolution of 2001 in terms of the Delhi HC order in our WP 184/2007. According to our counsel, scrutiny by the registry will take about week or 10days. We can therefore expect the case to be listed before this month end.This follow up action in the pending litigation had to be delayed as we wanted to wait for the outcome of the contempt proceedings at Jaipur. We hope that a favorable order in the I A will enable us to take a real step forward.
We shall promptly keep the members informed of the progress of our case at each stage.
