DEAR SIR,

IN "EDITORS TOP STORY" U HAVE REFEREED TO RAJ HC ORDERS DT. 12.1.10 AND EXPRESSED THE FEAR THAT IN ORDER TO SAVE THEMSELVES OF CONTEMPT LIC MAY DEPOSIT AMOUNT DUE TO PETITIONERS ONLY.

BUT LIC CANNOT ESCAPE CONTEMPT BY DOING SO.   THE SAID ORDER OF HC SPEAKS OF LIC BOARD RESOLUTION WHICH IS APPLICABLE TO ALL.  (....Corporation is directed to take a decision for implementation of the resolution dated 24.11.2001 passed by the Board..), SO THE FEAR IS IMAGINARY.

EVEN IF THEY PAY ONLY TO PETITIONERS IT IS FINE AND EVERY BODY WILL GET THEREAFTER AS SETTLED BY SC IN EARLIER CASES.
