PENSIONERS HAVE TO HANG ON FIRE INDEFINITELY

  • Alas, LIC pensioners wait has not come to an end despite a favourable SC judgment. 
  • The learned judges while allowing the IAs of Shri Asthana, have also allowed LIC to file a fresh SLP against DB judgment if they want to. 
  • No wonder LIC ably abetted by MOF will grab this opportunity to deny the pensioners hard earned victory in SC. 
  • Nobody knows in these circumstances when the day will dawn for the poor pensioners with lots of hopes in their mind. Shri Asthana will have to burn his midnight oil once again to plan his never ending strategies to thwart the efforts of LIC and the pensioners as usual have to hang on fire indefinitely.
