In keeping with the policy of striving for redressal of the problems faced by older age group among pensioners on priority basis I had today (20-7-2013) a detailed discussion over phone with the Director (personnel) in regard to the Re-fixation of pension for the following 2 categories viz (1) those who had Retired between 1-8-92 &1-4-1993, and (2) Pensioners whose date of birth falling on 1st of calendar month.
We have strongly pleaded that the issue should be decided by LIC itself without involving the Government. The Director(P)appreciated my stand and I hope a favourable decision will be taken soon.General .Secretary. Fedn. Of Retd. LIC class 1 officers Assns. Chennai
