LIC CLASS I (Retd.) Officers' Association, Chandigarh Unit vehemently condemns the tirade being carried out in the name of freedom of expression.
- In fact some individuals are out to serve clandestinely LIC & GOI. They are in fact messengers of doom who are out to create frustration and sabotage pensioner's unity. Why should they feel turmoils in their tummies if pensioners hope that Hon'ble SC will do justice and uphold the Orders of Rajasthan High Court (Single Bench, Division Bench & dismissal of LIC's Review Petition followed by Pb.& Haryana High Court judgement).
- We are fully aware that even after the SLP is dismissed it will not be a smooth sailing because LIC with the backing of GOI will try their level best to somehow deny the benefits to LIC Pensioners. We have such apprehensions after reading the contents of the affidavit filed by MOF, GOI. But It does not mean that we should surrender.
- Legal battle has to be fought because THERE WAS NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE and Sh. Asthana has shown us the way. Now we will sail or sink together.
