Power corrupts, leaders
of
left, right or centre
are no exception
without the quality
of
renouncement.
Of all isms, communism is a failure for the time being. In
any case, the theory, propounded by Marx/Engels, if I am told properly,
by the stalwarts in the movement correctly, is a sort of inexorable
evolving process in a developing, deepening and worsening crisis, as
remedy.
Only in such a situation of crises, Communism, replaces rule of
law as a result of people's inevitable choice, but not as a majoritarian
option. Instead of leaving such a classic theory to time and crisis
factor, human intervention happened to impose the same by few leaders,
great, they might be, with majority following, when the system was not
ready to absorb or adopt because there was, significant minority who did
not invite the system. Thereafter, indoctrination also was incomplete.
Indoctrination is a misnomer. Nobody can impose one's will on the other,
without being able to convince completely. The result was, people who
were forced to accept the new dispensation, waited to revolt which was
what had happened in erstwhile USSR. Taking a lesson out of this
reversal and to obviate such blow to their rule, communist China,
adopted capitalism in part and in pockets of geographical China
including newly owned Hon Kong.
Man is the wisest beast. Unless his mind accepts no system can have existence and the mind varies from man to man and therefore, unless a man made or system made common catastrophe befalls on the humanity like a crisis, there will not be any modicum of common approach to face, much-less evolve alternative system. Our own pensioner class is a living example that despite, common burning issue of up gradation of pensions, is there any trace of Unity?
Religion as a divine tool to identify man with God or the creator, cannot be set aside by human endeavour is the lesson to the authors and practitioners of left theories which are essentially inherent in any religion and are not new findings. Sincerity of course, is a must in religion also.
These are some of my thoughts on the chat column comments. No intention at all, to belittle anybody or belief system.

P.S. By the way, I am not only not averse to AIIEA but ardent admirer of its leadership and their brilliance during the days of COMs. BOSE, SAROJ, SUNIL and SUNDARAM, having worked with them in close proximity for nearly a decade and half, as one of the divisional leaders of AIIEA. I stopped agreeing with the practice of left ideology following new acquisition of Vedantic knowledge.
