Justice Misra agreed to hear the matter on merits later when the ASG is available but insisted on LIC explaining how 20% payment Order is complied with. To facilitate the same, the case was granted a pass over (to hear before the end of the day).
Next cases were taken up. There was hectic activity in all camps and LIC men were seen running all over.
At 3.40 PM, after the regular case No 108 was being heard, the Bench abruptly rose for the day announcing, "we hear the remaining matters later". That's it. LIC officers were seen running in to the Court Hall, only to realize the Bench is empty.
Will wait for all commentaries from all, to report mine. Rushing to airport to catch the next flight home.
