There is more in the judgement : two important matters are happening concurrently. It is interesting that the LIC is interested to pay interest of Rs.1,29,278/- on Rs.33,67,838/- and the Court has asked LIC should do so in a week. The respondent /LIC has to pay 20% to the applicants/petitioners, as per their entitlement.
As per the Court's (earlier) order, LIC is required to pay within two weeks and if it fails to heed to the Court's order the competent authority of LIC would be liable for contempt of court.
The long and short of the P&H HC order is that 31 petitioners would get some amount latest by 8th March, 2016 - a few days before the SC Bench assembles for final hearing on 10th March, 2016.
