This is indeed a welcome development. It provides us an opportunity to do the following:
1) Expose LIC's deliberately wrong formula of calculations being adopted by LIC.
2) Expose LIC's escapist approach of playing hide and seek in the matter of complying with the orders of the SC in letter and spirit.
3) Test what LIC does in regard to payment to family pensioners with its defective formula of calculations.
In other words it provides an opportunity to establish how LIC has committed gross contempt of the Apex Court.
