Pension Anomaly Chart as at 1st August, 2015 of Class I Officers at the maximum of pay scales of 1st August, 2007 and 2012 (proposed- awaiting approval) without FPA ...and after reducing the Commutation Amount
THIS information is just for academic interest.
There is updation of pension as per certain norms based on CPC / State level pay and pension commission's recommendations in GOI and state governments etc.; OROP not to civil pensioners.
A pensioner retired in a pay scale can compute ( it is 40% in GOI and 1 / 3 rd in LIC, banks including RBI) part of his pension. There is no provision to commute pension once again on subsequent revision of pay scales.
The pensioner is given the benefit of full eligible pension (without commutation....repeat : commutation not allowed second time) as per revised pay structure / scale and as per norms. The commuted amount availed as per the previous (one of the earlier) pay scale by the pensioner is recovered, for obvious, till he completes the commutation period of fifteen years.
