nithin.pb: WHEN a new blog is started, and some information useful to the pensioners is posted once in a while, a reader will be tempted to visit this new site for the simple reason that HE HAS ALREADY SWITCHED ON INTERNET FACILITY, HE IS ALREADY VISITING ANOTHER SITE AND THE NEW SITE IS ONLY JUST A ‘CLICK’ AWAY….
Here I am
stressing a simple point, visit to a blog is not difficult, any body will be
tempted to visit as many sites/blogs as possible once he has switched on ‘net’
facility.
Once I reach an online newspaper, I try to read as many
news papers as possible. The reason is simple – more visits do not cost me
anything at all. It's easy. Just free too! Only a 'click' away.
Once a chemist has established good business in a
particular locality, another chemist is tempted to open a shop there. He may get good business. If a third chemist also
opens a shop there, a customer is tempted to visit this locality/market place. Business may not diminish. On the contrary, all
chemists may get more business. Good business.
If that be so, I wonder why some of the pensioners blogs fail, deserted by readers. Despite heavy publicity, visits do not improve at all, almost stagnant and the site facing eventual closure? There must be sufficient reasons for the same. Sorry for the comments in these columns.
I request the readers to probe the reasons and criticise my comments so that my impression about this matter is corrected. Thanks
