Patience is the need of the hour

Lot of opinions were expressed

over Federation submitting the list of

its members in response to LIC

calling for it.

There are some vital questions which need to be analized.

  • If the Federation did not respond as was the wish of a few to the LIC requirement what will be the consequence ?.
  • Will LIC stand up and say that we on our part did what is to be done but it was for the other side to respond which they have not.
  • Was there a deliberate delay on the part of LIC in calling for the requirement to skirt the contempt of court it is again the court has to decide taking all the facts into consideration which will figure out in the arguments.
The other question is -
  • what will happen if the Federation gives a list of those members who are on their rolls and who have retired between 1-8-1996 and 31-7-1997, ignoring the cut off dates manufactured by LIC WHICH IS CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE DELHI HC ORDER as according to the court order the payment due has to be made in rem.
  • Can LIC toss the ball into the Federation court and say yours is a fractured list and not in conformity with our requirement and let us keep going with sweet rallies as you find in tennis and the spectators keep moving their head from one side to the other hoping that the rallies will soon end and aces will be served.
Well we could see those aces only on SEP 23 with no more rallies and we hope so.There cannot be any doubt that all these are happening much to our disappointment and to the advantage of the appellant who is striving to keep going this litigation as far as he could.. But whatever began has to come to an end and that is the law of nature and SEP 23 is just two months away for that end to come. Patience is the need of the hour.
