UNION BANK RETIRED EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION
Shri M.K.Mundul,
Deputy General Secretary,
Union Bank Retired Employees' Association (Maharashtra),
Mumbai.
Friend,
Incremental Commutation for retirees -
few illustrations of Officers
Please see whether the attached hypothetical calculations serve your purpose. It is done by Shri N.K.Jodhani, Secretary (A/cs.) of our Association for retired Officers.
Those Officers who are entitled to get revised salary for 10 months will be certainly benefited. But few who retired between November,'12 to March,'13 are under dilemma, as they will get less difference of incremental commutation (after deduction of pension). However, our calculations show that availing incremental commutation will more or less benefit all.
I am forwarding this e-mail and its attachments to all the other regular recipients of our Association's e-mails also with a hope that it may be useful to some of them in guiding their members.
However, it will be better, if the management of our Bank will be persuaded to provide calculations (as it is done by Bank of Baroda) so as to enable the retirees to give their informed consent. If possible, a delegation of the Office Bearers of our Union Bank Retired Employees' Association should meet ED / GM(P) at the Central Office requesting them to provide these calculations to all the retirees who are retired after 1st November,'12.
With due regards,
Yours sincerely,
B.G.Raithatha,
General Secretary
