What did Socrates say‏

Of late there is a free flow of diatribe between intellectuals. What ever may be its outcome I am tempted to read them more than once for its epistolary charm. May their tribe increase.

These mails do help me to get over the depression due to the prolonged never ending legal battle and the baffling court orders leading to one more sitting of the bench to clarify by which time many of us God forbid survive to see the light in the tunnel.

Books are my valued companion, of course next to my better half and I was incidentally browsing a biography on Socrates and bounced on an interesting anecdote :

A friend of Socrates met him and said : ' I met the oracle and asked him who is the most intelligent in Athens and he said that it is you Socrates'

Socrates : ' I know he would have said that for he knows that I am the only fellow who knows that he knows nothing. '
