Sheer arrogance

21 Jun 15, 03:39 PM

J.M. Aboobucker: What a pity. The Mighty Financial Institution of India, the LIC says to comply with the SC Order the money has to be obtained from the Jaipur and Chandigarh HCs where they have deposited ₹19 lakhs and ₹33 lakhs respectively for the 19 pre 1997 retiree petitioners of Jaipur HC and for 33 petitioners of Chandigarh.

The total outlay for this payment of 20% interim relief to the petitioners will according to LIC BE ₹ 10,40,000 because LIC cannot afford to pay this "Huge" sum without getting the refund from the HCs. Is this not sheer arrogance of LIC towards its erstwhile employees now called pensioners.
