Just now I got an email from Sh. R.B. Kishore informing outcome of his tele-talks today morning with Managers ( Legal ) at Jaipur-1 and Chandigarh regarding latest position of compliance of supreme court order dated 7th May, 2015.
As a further follow up, I also talked to Manager (Legal) DO Chandigarh and as per my limited understanding and interpretation, I am giving below my version of latest position.
- Legal advice by LIC advocate here and being followed by them is that since a copy of supreme court order dated 7th May has already been submitted to High Court during last hearing of contempt case on 21st May and since the opposite party has challenged calculations of amount deposited by LIC so we have to wait for further directions in this regard from high court during next hearing date on 20th July
I again repeat that this is my limited view after my telephonic talk only.

Mgr Legal Sri AKSen rang me up. He informed that Jaipur DO will pay to the petitioners 20 % of amount deposited earlier. When I enquired the numbers,he told me 19 petitioners only. I told him then they are leaving out the remaining petitioners. He said earlier also, only for 19, amount was deposited
2. When I asked him,what amount was deposited, he said app Rs19 lacs.
3. I enquired whether they have already paid, he said No, He added they will make an Application after the HC opens on 29 June 2015
4. After receiving the amount, they will pay to these 19 petitioners, 20% in the same proportion in which original amount was deposited.
