Mr Sreenivasa Murty, with the innate gift of his native wisdom
sharpened by his astute legal training and honed by his vast
experience, has tried valiantly to expound on (like Adisankara
expounding on the Brahmasutram; Mr B. Ganga Raju Hyderabad :
please note) what he considers to be the esoteric meaning and import (if
there is any according to an ignoramus and a perfect stranger to such
exalted and rarefied realms as the hallowed precincts of the 'apex
court' like yours truly) of the abstruse, ambiguous,
arcane, befuddled, cabalistic, Delphian, EGREGIOUS (Mr Sreenivasa
Murty), enigmatic, equivocal, incomprehensible, inexplicable, murky,
mystifying, opaque, oracular, perplexing, puzzling, recondite, strange,
vague, veiled, tenebrous, unclear and unfathomable
"Order" dated 07/05/2015 of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
".... we are sure that the order of the SC with direction of
interim relief definitely means that we have got out of the rut and
taken a positive step forward...."
Mr G.N.Sridharan
"SC Order is OUT - Full of ERRORS APPARENT With due regard to the
Bench, the Order is full of ERRORS APPARENT.It is EGREGIOUS to say the
least Apart from the issues affecting the Pensioners, LIC may have to
approach the Bench for clarifications....unintended
confusion....to correct the errors apparent...."
Mr Sreenivasa Murty
"Now what's the problem?Order received." "There's all the confusion now after reading the order, all the comments"
Cartoon in LIC PENSIONERS' CHRONICLE dated May 10, 2015
"Will the confusion continue till september? We all thought it
will be a speaking order without the need for clarification and
interpretation...."
Mr Chandrasekharan
"Supreme Court has brought Supreme Confusion for all of us....Your
cartoon showing confusion before and after release of said orders is
really superb."
Mr B.R.Mehta, Panchkula
"....Any clarification needed arising out of the Court Order should
be obtained within the next few working days left. Case Managers awake
and arise to get a purposeful clarification order...."
Mr J M Aboobucker
".... This has further complications,....All these complications
will arise therefore, we should wait and see how the LIC acts on this
order."
Mr K M L Asthana
"....The Case Managers and the Counsellors are requested to seek clarification forthwith."
SN (a 1992 pensioner)
"....immediately file Review Petitions on Monday/Tuesday, mention
before the Bench, pray and secure modified Orders....a strong case for
getting the Order changed...unless he (GNS - PR) gets the Order duly changed."
"That LIC may interpret it (the 'ad-interim' order dated 07/05/2015
of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India) differently is a different
matter"
- Mr Sreenivasa Murty.
"As the saying goes, "The surgery is successful, but the patient is
dead!...."It is anybody’s guess as to what will be the real meaning of
the SC order for LIC!"
Mr C H Mahadevan
"Practically my mind has become numb after going through the
operating portion of the order....Now we have good number of Bhashyakars
who render expert interpretation. What matters is how LIC/UOI interpret
the order. If it is in their power LIC/UOI wish
to kill us( all of us) with one stroke."
Mr B. Ganga Raju Hyderabad
This 'Order' is like "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.."
Or it is like visually challenged individuals trying to
describe an elephant as Mr B. Ganga Raju Hyderabad would, perhaps, have
it.
Interpreting it, to a layman like me, is like "looking with
your eyes closed in a dark room for a black cat which is not there."
As my dear friend Mr S.Sriraman (about whom mention had been
made in a previous post) would have said : "Hope the matter is clear to
you now. Assuring you of our best services always,"
P. Ramanathan.
