Dear Editor,
Just now I had a detailed telephonic talk with Sh. Sreenivasa Murty who is at Delhi Airport waiting for his return journey flight for Hyderabad and I reproduce below what I have understood and I am always open to be corrected in case something not being found correct.
Sh. Nidhesh Gupta, Advocate for Jaipur (High Court) case had to leave for another court for some of his emergent pending matters and in his absence our case was called. Now Sh. R.K. Singh AOR for Jaipur should have told the Bench that his senior was likely to join him shortly and in the mean time proper notes were being taken by him for the points being raised by LIC Advocate to be replied properly by his senior. Alas it did not happen and he started arguing and it seems he was not well equipped and it was a very poor show by him today when he could not give proper reply to very strong Questions from bench like you please tell us whether your pension rules have a clear mention of Pension Upgradation plus so many other similarly related questions.
It was a very timely and effective intervention by Sh. Savla advocate for Chandigarh that we could come out of unpleasant scenario today.
Our another case Manager for Delhi (HC) case is also fully exposed today when his advocate told the bench that they want only full D.A. for pre 1997 retirees.
So fight on 8th April is going to be very very tough and need of hour is proper co ordination between three case managers and their concerned Senior Advocates. Two weeks time is sufficient for this most difficult but very urgent Task.
My humble appeal is to all concerned who are taking lot of pains for LIC Pensioners Community.
