Sow a Thought, reap an Act,
Sow an Act, reap a Habit,
Sow a Habit, reap a Character,
Sow a character, reap a Destiny.
--This is the greatest Koutilya Role which transformational leaders play
We are not a Rishi or a MahaRishi ,but we carry on ,till physical & mental faculties permit. New explorations may come, discovery of Self is a continuous journey, “ a gem cannot be polished without friction, a man cannot perfected without trials.”
I remember late Sri T.S. Subramanian ED,LIC emphasized thoughtfully that if one does not have a stint in Marketing side, he misses a slice of life. I was happy I had Administration, Personnel, Marketing, Training roles in different tiers of LIC. Experience is a great leveller, it chastens life, softens its crudities & infuses soothing , introspective inclinations..
THANX A TON for your thoughtful Look through the Persicope.. It had opened my floodgates of emotions, past memories, our interactions, the bonding we created amongst a legion of personnel & pensioners in our own humble way. A man can dignify a rank; no rank can dignify a man. We have to emulate this in words & deeds. So, Francis Bacon said, “every man is a debtor to his profession”. When I incorporate 20-30 items of a kaleidoscopic variety every day at this age, embracing the whole gamut of life of human beings, elders, pensioners & others too, it is an arduous task, but when it is a commitment, one has to rise to the occasion, come what may. The deer was going in search of a musk in a forest, poor deer, was not even aware it was a musk deer, it had musk in its body !! We give the boon & bounty in blog & website, it is for others to understand & benefit.
Strangely, just the same time day before,Sri NV Subbaraman, a man of many dimensions, versatile in English, Tamil, Telugu, a poet & essayist in his own right, after a brilliant exposition on Conquering Stress at Ladies College,Chennai sent the attachment. Many never respond but I practise the etiquette of going through fully & giving my observations. Many such miscellaneous references from others,I care to give cognizance & give feedback & my views.Universe is of love, kindness, affection & togetherness. We forget to practise many times, we are poorer by our behaviour ! Look at his magnanimity, it is not for anything else I am citing this

Dear Sri NVS,
1. Hearty congratulations.I have gone thro ur presentation of 11 pages in 1 go. I used to tell others, if one thinks he can read later, very few can stick to that condition but many many do not follow their conscience, fall a prey to laziness & lo, cannot enjoy variety & multi-dimensional devpts taking place all around. Viewed in that sense, the essay has been dealt with in progressive ascendant parameters, about various facets of stress, interspersed with famous Tamil quotes & what not, as a legitimate author & poet.
2. U have nicely portrayed the origin, indicators, symptoms of stress with factors, physical, mental, psychological & the causes wherefrom stress springs & the care & concern one has to bestow to reduce, mitigate stress & attack the factors responsible for the same. Behold the beauty of the lecture with illustrations & other hobbies & pastimes needed to be away from stress & conquering than surrendering to the villain. Last few paras are also bedecked with timely tips, powerful assertions of a positive bent of mind & timely advice to young students of the college to rejuvenate & to chalk out the future with courage & conviction by socialisation, & such alternative antidotes, which we have ,like butterflies on our shoulders, but we go to garden in search of same
3. U made me have a mental journey way back, when along with great Tamil scholar,Sri Bala Sandilyan , we 2 used to visit many many Highschools, colleges, & other places of learning, technical, medical etc on topics relevant to them for being & becoming a holistic personality. Same, alongwith Probian friends too many schools, colleges, apart from my own Madras University, Commissioner of Income Tax Office, RBI Staff college, United India Learning Centre et all
4. Whenever Clifford Martis used to send articles & ask suggestions, many I have given additional points & he was gracious
Once again a worthwhile effort of dispelling cobwebs & darkness & infusing & injecting positive attributes of gaining strength & fortitude to make the arduous & hazardous journey of LIFE more peaceful, tranquil & pleasant & in that process radiating gladness all around.
R.B.KISHORE
That indeed is the greatness of that erudite and scholarly R B Kishore, whom I adore right from the day I have heard of him, and came in personal contact. I only pray for his long life full of this vibrancy and vitality, peace and joy, health and happiness for hundred years.
