Ramayana Breathless Video - Dushyanth Sridhar - Sanskrit Raghuveera Gadyam 9 min 30 seconds

This is a rendition in Sanskrit and to the listener will appear as if sung in a breathless manner. This is a composition of a Vaishnavite preceptor called Vedanta Desika who lived in the twelfth century. He was a poet par excellence and belonged to the Vaishnavite cult propagated by Saint Ramanuja in South India. Of his many works, this is the only work in prose that covers the epic of Ramayana in one stretch. Moreover, this is recited in homes, the traditional way and is believed to bless the listener with peace and prosperity.
