KEEPING COOL AND CALM

Dear Mr.Gangadharan

I am a regular reader of the Chronicle. Indeed I have become wiser and wiser by reading the Chronicle.

I read the well written article by Mrs Chitra Vishwanathan on "All about Attachment".  She has rightly highlighted the need for detached attachment in our daily life.

Instantly some slokas in Bhagavath Geetha came to my mind in the context of delay in taking up our case.   The Pensioner community is eagerly waiting for the results.   The agitated mind leads to think in different directions.

We are sufficiently old enough to analyse things; we have enough learnt experiences.   We can practice to be calm and cool (like Captain cool - Dhoni) in any situation. The 47th sloka in Chapter 2 of Bhagavath Geetha tells:
This dictum is difficult to be practiced.   But Constant endeavour to follow the teachings in BhagavadGeetha will bring internal Bliss and peace of Mind and consequent Good Health - through the mighty prowes of MY LORD.
