Dear Shri. Gangadharan,
Let me begin by lauding you for the consistent efforts
made by you in keeping the pensioners posted with
the uptodate developments with reference to our cases
pending before the apex court. No doubt, the entire
pensioners’ community might have been terribly
disappointed by the unjustified stretching of the
dates of hearing.
We are all well aware that neither the listing nor
hearing is following any logical steps or well
established legal principles. But, we are left
with no choice except to try all possible methods
to expedite the hearing, provided such a thing is
feasible. The other option open to us is to accept
the inevitable and patiently wait for that good
day when our cases will be taken up for hearing.
Let us not give any hope to the pensioners
I know of a few pensioners who are on the brink of a breakdown only thinking about the outcome of the cases. On the other hand, let us impress upon our pensioner friends that looking at the circumstances we have every reason to believe that we will win, the remote possibility that the verdict can go against us cannot be RULED OUT. That would be being more realistic and down to earth.
With best wishes and regards,
M.V. Venugopalan
