Meeting with Chairman at Hyderabad‏

Mr. Viswanathan's observations about the outcome
of the meeting appears to be more of his wishful
thinking than the reality. The Chairman was simply
evasive in his response and washed off his hands
to do anything sympathetic and constructive from
his position and power on the vital problems of
LIC Pensioners. On Jain case also he has not
come out with clarity the steps taken to expedite
the matter.

The conclusion by Mr Vishwanathan that he could see a silver-lining in the outcome of the meeting is like chasing a mirage in the barren desert.

In fine, the result of the meeting only goes to confirm the unhelpful attitude of LIC and its top Management towards the pensioners and their dire problems. The meeting appears to be a futile exercise.

May God save the aged and ailing Pensioners.
