The LIC Pensioners Chronicle has been trying to sell the idea of a meeting of the parties involved in the Supreme Court legal fight.

We have published an article by Shri B. Ganga Rajau (UNITY MOVES)
We have also published an article by Shri Sreenivasa Murty (WHY MEETING AT ALL)

Having presented the idea, dealt with points
UNITY WHAT FOR,
WHY MEETING AT ALL,
we propose  a meeting of the concerned stake holders.

This idea did not materialise so far for various reasons. We now feel that the time is opportune enough to hold a preliminary meeting at Bangalore taking advantage of the fact that the All India Retired Insurance Employees Federation is having its conference there. And Shri KML Asthana, Shri Chhabra and the leaders of the Federation will be available at Bangalore during the period 14-16 October 2014. Shri GN Sridharan could be invited to attend the meeting proposed to be held at a neutral site under the auspices of LIC PENSIONERS CHRONICLE.

The LIC PENSIONERS CHRONICLE will be arranging this meeting at 8 pm on any day between 14-16 October 2014 (venue will be notified).

The following persons/organisations/stake-holders or their representatives are being invited to attend the meeting:-

1. Shri KML Asthana and a representative of the Federation.
2. Shri GN Sridharan and a representative of Retd. Officers Federation.
3. Stake-holders of Panchkula Unit Shri Chhabra and Shri Srinivasa Murty who is their representative as per a Resolution passed by the Panchkula Unit of AIRIEF.
4. Shri PG Gangadharan, Editor Chronicle as observer only.
5. A mediator to be selected by the attending parties.

Since we have practically no time to make elaborate correspondence, the pensioners/delegates attending the AIRIEF meeting/Retd. Officers Federation functionaries may bring THIS INFORMATION to the notice of their leaders and make it sure they attend the meeting.

A mail is being sent to the above leaders carrying this message. Please treat this as URGENT.
