SN (a 1992 Pensioner)

Shri KML Asthanaji  submitted the clarifications / explanations at his best. However, his submissions were not to the satisfaction of trio. The trio reacted strongly, as if with a trident. The reactions were thoroughly thorny ; as if, threatening to harmony amongst the leadership and were more than what was anticipated. Their verbose sounded not out of context but seemed also carry some mutual grudge carried over the past few years. It was as if everyone waiting for an opportune time to spill the beens / to invite public attention to the fore.
MSM initiated the ' discussion' with ' a mentioning ' to expedite the Apex Court's hearing of cases / cause. KML must have got a ' kick' by the suggestion to act and did act but without taking others into confidence nor acknowledging . And all the hell broke out.
Shri Asthanaji said,' I may have used some words - not be to taste of some one ; if that be so, I am sorry ' ' I maintain separate accounts.  My Pension and SB accounts in a bank and another separate account in another bank wherein whatever the contribution received was credited ' There are few who can vouch for him.
All in the game of a public domain. All's fare in love and war; in general body. Every item seems to have been well rehearsed before the ensuing Conference at Bangalore.
Twelfth Day of November 2014 is hardly few days more. Let the leaders not give out wrong signals, better not send wrong message/s to GOI or to LIC.  Two / three or more litigants at loggerheads, trying to strangulate by necks. They, GOI /LIC would be more than happy to find an excuse to....the disadvantage of pensioners.

Any conference, blow hot and cold, generally, cannot be avoided, but at the same time fail not, allow for constructive long deliberations, discussions, share the platform in a more cordial atmosphere ...eat well, drink well, enjoy the environment of Bangalore ( once upon a time -Bangalore City was considered as air conditioned city ) to the fullest. All of us, pensioners, know that our leaders, despite their surfaced bitter internal organisational level misgivings etc., have to work unitedly to fight against the LIC and GOI, to win the cases to bring cheers to the pensioners. The pensioners, truly speaking, are more interested in the end results as time remaining on this mundane earth for many , if not majority, of pensioners is pretty less and very very precious. It is not the time/ hour to settle scores or differences. It is not to say let the bygones be bygones. The world is not coming to an end to all. Those physically, mentally and financially fit are at liberty to do as they like. The prioritisation of issues at stake is the key word for us to respect at this critical juncture.
A few oft read quotes : Let the unpleasantness among us become a thing of the past. Let the present team of leaders set good example to the future. Let the past not affect the future. Granted, this difficult time too shall pass.
Best of time at the Mega meeting and best of luck to one and all.
