Really it is extremely difficult to say final good bye to any of our near and dear with whom we have very very long association like in case of Sh.Sood with whom I was associated since 1991. A very large gathering today at cremation ground clearly proved popularity of Sh.Sood. After his retirement from LIC, he was associated with many social activities like being Secretary AIRIEF Chandigarh Unit and President of Sood Sabha in Tricity. But one thing is more than clear that Sh.Sood performed all his responsibilities with complete dedication and sincerity. His command over English drafting was superb.
I had a chance to be at his residence on 23rd March last to enquire about his health along with Mrs and Mr.R.B.Kishore as well as Sh.B.Angurajan and Sh.H.D.Sharma and he was looking quite cheerful at that time. But as we all know that Life is very uncertain and we humble human beings are helpless before the Will of God.
Final Prayer Ceremony or Rasam Uthala is to be held at Sood Bhawan,Sector 44, Chandigarh on 10th July Thursday from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm.
