Shri RBK's letter to the ZM, SZ is timely and thoughtful. His twin demands viz. monthly deduction of the premium for the FFP AS IS DONE FOR EMPLOYEES is very reasonable and would go a long way to balance the pensioners' fragile monthly budget. We fondly hope the ZM who is known to be sympathetic to the cause of the pensioners will certainly agree to this demand and issue instructions to the DOs under his control immediately. 

The second demand VIZ. CASHLESS FACILITY at the approved hospitals is to be considered by CO in consultation with the NIA. This should not be a big issue for CO if only the Authorities understand the very purpose of increasing the Family Floater Cover (Maximum 20lakhs) is to only take care of the ever increasing cost of medical treatment at private hospitals nowadays and the need for providing financial support to the hapless insured in the event of any serious health condition warranting immediate admission in hospitals. 

Vigorous follow up is a must till this demand is met by the authorities as any delay will negate the laudable object of this FFP. THANK YOU SHRI RBK.
