Friends,
I partly agree with Sh A Balasubramanya when writes: "Please note that I have no intention to join issues. I feel this is not the time for it. and ..... the single-handed efforts of Sri KML Asthana has been responsible for the Judgment dt. 12-01-2010. The matter has gone upto the Supreme Court to get LIC to implement its own decision, which is held up as it is looking up to the GOI for its prior approval. The judicial process is still on and the matter is sub judice. Political help is being canvassed to get the green signal from the GOI.....ABS." (Viewing normally the Govt Ministers have simple reply i.e. we have looked into - and say the matter is before Supreme Court or will say the matter is sub-judice.)
I fully endorse the factual views of Sh M P Subramanian in his mail below where he has very well
summed up as under : " Sh A Balasubramanya may not be aware of the inner most intention of the gentleman who has undertaken this part of the move. The suggestion that they are prepared to assist LIC and GOI to hammer out a solution to end the stalemate itself is a mischief, when the Judgment of SB of Jaipur Bench of Rajasthan HC is exhaustive and crystal clear. Our only demand is that GOI must advise LIC to implement the judgments of Three HCs along with the observations of Supreme Court. I have my own doubt to which direction the present suggestion will lead to.That may be another time consuming process. M.P.Subrahmanian."
While we can expect some change of attitude of LIC with the change of Govt., full justice for the pensioners will flow only on implementation of the HCs/SC orders, which we have got after over 15 yrs of successful legal fight. Our patience & faith in the judiciary is our strength. Let there be another appeal to Hon'ble CJI for early final disposal of LIC pensioners cases.
