Can't say now!

My date of birth is 1-6-1940 and I was asked to

retire on 31-5-2000. Is it correct? As per Jaipur court 

I should have been asked to retire on the month end of
my birth month i.e. on 30-6-2000. Kindly throw light on 

this aspect or get it clarified from our esteemed 

pensioner colleagues.
