| Civil Appeal No. 8959-8962/2013(L.I.C.& ors vs Sri. K.M.L. Asthana &ors) is coming for hearing in Supreme Court on 12-8-2014.
There are other two unlisted Civil Appeals pending in Supreme Court, viz, (1) I.A.No. 3 in Civil Appeal 9223/2013 (L.I.C. & ors vs.Retd LIC Class I Officers Assn), and (2) Civil Appeal No. 6995/2013 (L.I.C Chandigarh petitioners). I feel that, if permitted, we can request the new Hon. Chief Justice, Sri. R. M. Lodha to club all the three Civil Appeals together for hearing on 12-8-2014, since all the three appeals pertain to the same dispute.
I am making this suggestion in the interest of speedier disposal and quick justice. Our colleague pensioners having legal background can deliberate on this and inform whether this can be done.
