Dear Mr BR Mehta,

The adjournment of the hearing of I.A. No 3 under C.A.9223 by SC to the 2nd week of August 2014 has provided a god-sent opportunity to the original petitioners under the three Civil appeals ordered to be listed together, to make a concerted effort to pray before the Apex Court for directing LIC to implement the respective stay-refused orders of High Courts, viz. Rajasthan, Delhi and PB & H, Chandigarh before taking up regular hearing on the Civil Appeals, which may take considerable time.
When three senior counsel three different original petitioners make similar prayers emphasizing before the Court that the old pensioners are anxiously and helplessly waiting for justice, the Court is bound to take cognizance of the strength of the case.
This is exactly the point that is being emphasized by Mr Sreenivasa Murty when he exhorts the leaders of the different Federations/Associations to come together as a united front for the common purpose of LIC Pensioners obtaining early justice.
I appreciate your reinforcing the call for such a move.
Kind regards.
