LETTER TO RAHUL GANDHI

This refers to Shri Srinivasamurthi’s letter to Shri Rahul Gandhi ventilating the plight of LIC pensioners. Rahul Gandhi is a man of action and we have seen the “ Rahul effect” when a representation was made to him by a body of civil service aspirants for allowing two attempts to crack the UPSC examination and also for relaxation of the upper age limit for all categories of candidates. He assured them that he would help. He kept his word and not only took up the matter with the government without any delay necessitating for any reminder but also prevailed upon the government to concede the demands.

It will be prudent and courteous if our representative could meet Rahul Gandhi personally with necessary protocol to have a better effect to the letter which would have already reached him.

There is a proverb in Tamil which says ‘You go on hitting, even a kitchen ('Ammi') grinding stone  will move’. Let us keep hitting .
