- I wish to place on record my deep appreciations for LIC Pensioners Chronicle for their detailed coverage of legal battle of all LIC Pensioners and its readership has multiplied in such proportions that as on date it has become virtually online newspaper for LIC Pensioners community.
We all know that we have to fight a very long battle against GOI/LIC Management which has virtually become deaf, dumb and blind to very genuine demand of Pension Upgradation and D.A. Parity to all pre 1st August 1997 retirees to their ex-employees which contributed their best while in service for making LIC a great institution of India. However, our present Management has totally failed in its duty as a model employer to look after their ex employees most of them are above 75 years and many are leaving this world after their long and futile wait for justice to them during their lifetime.
We have best legal brain in our community. We must not be down due to this temporary setback and have to carry on our battle to logical conclusion.
My humble appeal to our best legal brain amongst us is to give their best possible guidance to entire pensioners community through the columns of LIC Pensioners Chronicle as to what is our next step from this point.
