'NO STAY' ORDER HAS NO MEANING ?

IF 'NO STAY' ORDER OF SC HAS NO MEANING, THEN WHY DID
LIC ASK FOR A STAY IN SUPREME COURT IN THE FIRST INSTANCE,
asks Shri Aboobucker.

The LIC's arguments are only on the expected lines that their SLP has been granted by the SC condoning the delay and that their application has been converted as Civil Appeals. Hence no contempt has been committed and the matter is subjudice now.

OK. Then what is the meaning of the SC's order stating that the LIC's application for STAY of Raj HC judgment been DISMISSED. Does this order passed by the SC just like that and has NO MEANING WHATSOEVER? If it is so why did LIC request for the STAY in the first instance?

In my opinion the dismissal of the STAY request of LIC by the SC only opens way for the implementation of the Raj HC judgment NOTWITHSTANDING the civil appeal pending in SC and Asthanaji should insist for the implementation of Raj HC judgment.
