Always unbiased and yearning for unity among the pensioners' fraternity whichever union they belong to, I read with interest Shri GNS circular in your Blog under the caption 'Expecting break through'.
That he had a dialogue with Secretary (Financial Services) GOI and brought to his focus our problems despite favorable court orders and the response from him being encouraging Shri GNS’s conclusion that "matters are receiving serious attention at the appropriate level as learnt from reliable source" is a matter not to be dismissed in a huff.
Whatever action is taken and who takes it does not matter if such efforts could bring tangible result as early as possible to break the irksome stalemate. However one has to ponder whether any decision will be taken outside the court by GOI/LIC or will they wait for the disposal of CCP on 3-1-2014? It could be that having been pushed to the wall unable to wriggle out from the CCP and to avoid a disgraceful warrant awaiting to be issued by the court which will brutally tarnish the image of this ‘ navarathna ‘ some sort of compromise is being brewed in the GOI/LIC kettle and if that be so GNS statement gets vindicated.
Federation or ARIEF is like a double barrel gun, aim being the same and if the bull’s eye is hit, bouquets to both.
