1. SUPREME COURT HAS CONDONED THE DELAY FOR SUBMISSION OF SLP. THIS MEANS, THE SPECIAL LEAVE PETITION AGAINST RAJASTHAN HC JUDGMENT (RESUBMITTED BY LIC MENDING DEFECTS) HAS BEEN ALLOWED AND DELAY CONDONED.
2. SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (SLP) AGAINST THE RAJASTHAN DB VERDICT "GRANTED". THIS MEANS THAT THE 'MATTER' WILL BE NUMBERED AS REGULAR APPEAL. "SC HAS ALLOWED LEAVE TO APPEAL TO LIC AND EVERY BODY KNOWS CIVIL APPEALS TAKE 8/10 YEARS."
3. "THERE SHALL BE NO STAY OF THE DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE SINGLE JUDGE" OF RAJASTHAN HC. THIS DIRECTION MEANS THAT THE PENSIONER-PETITIONERS CAN APPROACH HIGH COURTS WITH CONTEMPT PETITIONS. HIGH COURTS MAY PASS CONTEMPT ORDERS TOO. BUT LIC WILL APPROACH THE SC AGAINST ANY SUCH CONTEMPT ORDER AND IN ALL CERTAINTY THE NEW SUPREME COURT BENCH CONSIDERING LIC'S APPEAL AGAINST RAJASTHAN HC JUDGMENT WILL STAY OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEMPT ORDERS.
4. DEAR PENSIONERS, THERE IS THEREFORE NO SCOPE FOR YOU TO REJOICE. NOBODY NEED HARBOUR ANY HOPES OF ANY IMMEDIATE SETTLEMENT OF THE PENSION RELATED PROBLEMS.
