PROTESTS POUR

( S. Mahadevan )

Here’s the news!  Now you say, Rajasthan …. after Delhi.  But before going to Rajasthan, will you wait for a moment and think if you have reported the correct facts about Delhi hearing. I think pensioners will be onceagain asked to celebrate.

Pensioners stand wonderstruck and perplexed.  I don’t know what Shri Aggarwal expects from the Jaipur HC when Supreme Court is seized of the matter. Will the HC send LIC managers to jail for disobeying court orders!

Asthana and co. …. (edited out) do not have a public relations manager.  Celebration calls will come from different parts of the country. There is no dearth for good English.  How many new English words will pensioners learn at this age.

No official handout is ever issued after a court hearing.  We have Secretaries, organizing secretaries and ordinary members.  We have official blog which of late does not carry anything at all. Links …... (edited).

Pensioners do not protest.  Why the proceedings of the court are not reported.  Something to say….The court took up consideration of the case at about…. The bench consisted of so and so judges. On behalf of LIC their senior advocate Shri…. was present. Shri Asthana was represented by Shri….
Senior advocate in his initial remarks …….  Hon. Justice asked….. Our advocate replied saying….
Court rose for the day.  Court orders are expected within the next one or two days….

Instead of reporting what transpired in the court, the pensioners are asked to celebrate.  Poor pensioners are tired of celebrations. I only wish to say, we are too old, we should not be taken for a ride.

SLP AT SUPREME COURT

(We have received a few letters besides telephone calls. While we do not intend to publish all the letters, a protest of a pensioner is published only to show pensioners' resentment in the matter. - Ed.)
