LETTER TO SHRI GN SRIDHARAN

Respected Sir,

Your outburst against Shri H.K. Aggarwal is understandable.  It is a general perception and exceptions are always there.  And I am sure you with your long long track record of "serving" the pensioners may be above all these factors.
  • On the one hand you claim to be working for and on behalf of your association and writing letters to the Chairman and / or FM for the cause of pensioners, but you do not want any pensioner to comment on your actions.
  • Sir, are you shy of facing adverse comments or you have given yourself the right that whatever you do has been ordained to you by the Almighty and you have the right to be correct always.  Your statement that "HKA has no business to offer public comment" is highly condemnable particularly when through your actions you have given the impression that you are in the business of "serving the pensioners" for motives best known to you. You become hyper active whenever there are favourable court proceedings and you speak the language which is better reserved for the opposing Advocates - may be the legal cells in you becomes restless.
  • Respected Sir, may I ask, before Jaipur Court proceedings and to be precise,  before Jan.11, 2010 Judgement, how many pensioners ever thought or dreamt of "updation of pension" ?  Being a senior Office Bearer of Pensioners Asson, you must tell us as to what you or your association did in this direction ( updation of pension ) and what was the result.  Please do not hide yourself behind the argument that you owe explanation only to Your Members. If you have a right to comment on Court Proceedings, so are you duty bound to clarify the position to all the pensioners.   Whether it should be point to point or strictly as per the Board Resolution is quite a different matter which will  come up when the basic principle to implement Board Resolution is accepted.  At this stage these are attempts to confuse the situation.
  • If the dismissal of SLP is a "debacle" as termed by you, then you do not deserve any courtesy to be considerate to you because of your age.
  • Still  I apologize to you and wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Yours truly,
S.P.SOOD
